[00:28]

A glimpse of the god’s parade in the sky [1]
A sword draws in fallen flowers, attracting the spring breeze
Treasures swaying past both eyes
Embracing the stars
A red bead turns through the years, sealing this life

[00:53]

A youth who is loyal and nimble, favours the blade
Vows to protect the prosperity of Xian Le till death
Yet sees temples covered in dust, a multitude of shadows [2]
A lonely white robe heads towards the distance

[01:07]

Willing to not cross over to the three paths, remain confined in hell [3]
But begging for a weak flame to drive away the winter cold
Calamity arises in the world, and daring to bear it alone

[01:20]

In a corner of the universe, one fraction of deep yearning in exchange for one beacon
A fleeting 800 years, an everlasting affection of all kinds, waiting for one reunion

[01:33]

Fortunately someone took pity, the past grows distant
Presenting the rest of one’s life, dedicating blooming flowers to fill a city
Willing to take your hand for the long journey back in my embrace

[01:49]
It is my greatest honour to die in battle for you.
I am forever your most faithful believer.
Your Highness, trust me.

[02:15]

Forging a demon king in Tong Lu
Crimson robes and blood rain shock the heavens
Once painted a pleased god, whose looks are always calm
Also once carved a golden statue, entrusting the past

[02:40]

Eming saves the commoners out of goodwill, a gust of butterflies hidden in one’s sleeves
To release and speedily overturn good and bad luck
A knot of fate on both fingers, further tying familiar bonds
Ink fills a letter of grief of separation

[02:54]

Wandering with the autumn maple leaves beneath an umbrella, cherishing flowers with a sincere heart
Only for a single whisper
And what of it, the affairs of the world scatter and drift by

[03:06]

In a corner of the universe, one fraction of deep yearning in exchange for one beacon
A fleeting 800 years, an everlasting affection of all kinds, waiting for one reunion
Fortunately someone took pity, the past grows distant
Presenting the rest of one’s life, dedicating blooming flowers to fill a city
Willing to take your hand for the long journey back in my embrace

[03:33]

Crossing the seas at one’s utmost, heavenly affairs coming to a close, each governance diverges in direction [4]
Heading to Mt Wu together, the rain clouds have yet to stop, one’s initial wish remains the same from beginning to end
Fortunately someone took pity, on this body of all kinds
All was born because of love, blooming flowers fill a city
Willing to turn around to take the same path back with you

[1] 惊鸿 literally means snow geese which were scared and hence they fly away. Or it describes a beauty’s graceful figure, or an old flame. There is a saying 惊鸿一瞥 which means to briefly catch a glimpse of; unexpectedly see (a beauty).

[2] 蒙尘 literally means what was once beautiful is now covered in dust. But it can also refer to the situation of an emperor who has lost the throne and is on the run.

[3] In Buddhism, 三途 refers to the path of fire, path of swords, path of blood. I’m not good at explaining this so you can read more here.

[4] I translated 仙尘落定 based on my understanding of the idiom 尘埃落定, which means that things have finally come to a close / finally settled down.

Notes: Mandarin is not my most proficient language, so feel free to feedback. Also, I interpreted some lines to my own understanding, and balanced between literal and lyrical translations.

Hello, I cannot guarantee anything because as you said I do this during my free time. And for no incentive other than my own interest (and for friends). So I can only say, see how it goes.

And no worries, I know you’re not ordering me.
