After 2 years (oops), here’s my review of Yunohana SpRING!. It’s a straightforward story, so this will be a simple review. The only graphics I’ll show are the title screen, screenshots of the interface and background art, and CGs already shown on the official website.
After falling ill twice, being drained from work, and having otome-gaming drought – I thought that I should just throw in the towel for Getsuei FD (
for now) and move onto my beloved Jyuuzaengi sequel. So after loooong period, I have finally finished the post for the Common Route for Jyuuzaengi 2! I’ll add in additional content, if there’s anything else to add as I play other routes. Like my review for the first game, I’ll link up the correlations between the game and the historical novel it’s based on. Since this is a sequel, there will definitely be spoilers from the first game.
Ivan (CV: Ishida Akira) serves the Snow Queen and having sworn loyalty to her, he only believes in her. He hates superficial statements and thinks that feelings are fragile and unnecessary. His route is unlocked after you finish Aje’s. This continues from the Common Route. (*Ivan’s scenes there have been added.)
I don’t know when I can get to my next review, and didn’t want my last game review to remain on top so I made this post lol. Also, it’s been a while since I posted about fanbooks and/or artbooks. AND today happens to be Ishida’s birthday so I wanted to listen to something with him too~ So I’ll just introduce briefly the contents of the Oujisama (Warai) Series Official Fan Book (yes in case you haven’t heard, it got one) and the drama CD which accompanies it. After that I’ll show the contents of miko’s gorgeous artbook, TOIROxStripes! \o/ I don’t think her illustrations give away game spoilers, but if you’d like to stay on the safe side then don’t look past this line I guess.
My last post for Amnesia Crowd. There will be spoilers for the previous games – in particular Ukyou and Orion. Again, ‘cos the heroine has no name, and I decided to name her “Yuu”. Do read the first Amnesia Crowd post for the basic game flow. /lazy Below you’ll find an introduction to Working mode and Orion’s room, review of the mini-events from Working mode, and the bonus Orion scenario you get for getting all the quiz questions correct.
So I started on Amnesia Crowd. As a basic introduction of the game flow, there are 3 modes: Suspense, Working, Love. I believe that only Love mode picks up from the previous games’ contents. There is also a section where you can visit Orion, and another where you can play card games (Poker, Black Jack) with each guy.
There will be spoilers in this post for the previous games. Again, ‘cos the heroine has no name, and I decided to name her “Yuu”
for like “you”. I wanted to review all the miscellaneous content first like I did for Amnesia Later, but apparently a certain event is only unlocked at the end of everything so I’ll have to save those for last. Below you’ll find Kent’s route (CV: Ishida Akira) for Suspense mode, Love mode (After Story, Communication).
Finally started on Arabians Lost ~The Engagement on Desert~ PSP. Our heroine, Aileen Olazabal, is the only princess of Gilkhatar – which is pretty known as a(n) outlaw/criminal country – and daughter to the bandit king. Everyone in this country is pretty much not “normal” but all Aileen wants is to be normal, and have a normal love life and marriage. Of course, things won’t go that smoothly for her.
Next up is Ryuu Bi (CV: Ishida Akira), the leader of the Maozoku. Even though he’s 15 years old he acts like a little kitten and relies a lot on Kan U. But all the Maozoku do treat him with great importance and respect his every decision. (You have no idea how I’m excited to be doing kitty boy.) I recommend reading Chou Hi’s review first ‘cos all the common stuff is explained there; I’m not going into overlapping details for the following routes.
