After 2 years (oops), here’s my review of Yunohana SpRING!. It’s a straightforward story, so this will be a simple review. The only graphics I’ll show are the title screen, screenshots of the interface and background art, and CGs already shown on the official website.
Let me be direct, Shiratsuyu no Kai is all over the place. There is no meaning in me doing a detailed review, as I usually do, for there is hardly anything to be said about each route except that everyone runs around in circles. So well this review may be a little different from others, but it should still be able to convey the message of how frustrating it was for me.
Next, the three guy’s routes for Nanami (CV: Seto Asami). Raised in a family of ninjas, she’s nimble and carries a pair of kunai with her. Nanami is also sensitive to other people’s emotions, however she is poor at expressing herself. When she was young, she was told that her power can erase other people’s sadness and pain and she would use her power as ordered to – to erase people’s memories. But Nanami detests her own ability, and in fact admires Mikoto’s. She, Heishi and Itsuki are often together. Both Nanami and Heishi cannot cook at all, so Akito often has to keep them at bay. You may wanna read Senri’s route first for a basic outline, including common events.
Sono Ai wa Yamai ni Itaru is the second volume in Operetta’s『耳で感じる乙女ゲーム』シリーズ (literally, the otome game series which you feel with your ears). It has multiple endings with either guy and taking note that the cast uses their pseudo-names, you can expect it to have R-18 content. Also if you guess from the drama CD title, you should expect some degree of…extreme behaviour lol. I don’t mean to turn people away though ‘cos I actually did enjoy this drama CD.
This follows the Common Route of Slen and Nalan. Nalan is Slen’s faithful follower and looks up to Slen a lot, especially since he’s his saviour. He happily attends to all of Naala’s needs but it eventually becomes evident that something pains him a lot. This is only unlocked after Slen’s route and there’s some overlaps so it’s best to read that first. R-18 game! But I will not post any R-18 CGs in my reviews and there will be spoilers.
A last reminder that our Halloween Special Event three posts below will be ending soon! You get to request a drawing (from Chromite) and/or an otoge review (from me)! Read the post for the specifics and feel free to enter~
So for Okashi na Shima no Peter Pan (PSP), I decided to do Tink (CV: Sugiyama Noriaki) first, the older fairy brother of Tinker Bell. Tink’s personality is very simple and straightforward, his main motive is to have fun and interesting experiences and that drives almost all of his actions. He listens to Peter’s words every time though. With respect to Wendy, like Peter, he finds her interesting and takes her as a playmate at the start. However, both he and Wendy slowly change and grow the longer they interact with each other and the rest of the post is spoilers. Do read the Prologue first.
Continuing after Shuuya in Clock Zero (PSP), I went after Saionji Toranosuke (CV: Sugiyama Noriaki) since he is the last from the “white bunny” side (you’ll understand better in future reviews). Toranosuke, or Tora which is his later nickname, is the same year as Nadeshiko. As you can tell from his looks, he’s a rebellious kid who accepts challenges readily and regularly skips class to go elsewhere or play games. However, he is unexpectedly good at looking out for and taking care of others, as he is an older brother to his two younger brothers. Again, his route, starts the same like all others so you may want to read the first part of my review for Riichirou for details. /lazy However, since he skips all of the after-class homework stuff, he has some interesting interactions in addition.
