Jyuuzaengi 2: Common Route

十三支演義 偃月三国伝2_0001

After falling ill twice, being drained from work, and having otome-gaming drought – I thought that I should just throw in the towel for Getsuei FD (for now) and move onto my beloved Jyuuzaengi sequel. So after loooong period, I have finally finished the post for the Common Route for Jyuuzaengi 2! I’ll add in additional content, if there’s anything else to add as I play other routes. Like my review for the first game, I’ll  link up the correlations between the game and the historical novel it’s based on. Since this is a sequel, there will definitely be spoilers from the first game.

Oujisama (Warai) Series Official Fan Book, miko Artbook TOIRO×Stripes!

I don’t know when I can get to my next review, and didn’t want my last game review to remain on top so I made this post lol. Also, it’s been a while since I posted about fanbooks and/or artbooks. AND today happens to be Ishida’s birthday so I wanted to listen to something with him too~ So I’ll just introduce briefly the contents of the Oujisama (Warai) Series Official Fan Book (yes in case you haven’t heard, it got one) and the drama CD which accompanies it. After that I’ll show the contents of miko’s gorgeous artbook, TOIROxStripes! \o/ I don’t think her illustrations give away game spoilers, but if you’d like to stay on the safe side then don’t look past this line I guess.

NORN9: Sakuya, Itsuki, Natsuhiko

Lastly, here are the three guy’s routes for Kuga Mikoto (CV: Takagaki Ayahi). First, some basic information about her. Born in a noble family, she was raised with great importance. Mikoto feels a great sense of responsibility in protecting the ship. Being taught that her power (forcefields) is a gift from god, she feels proud of it and has used it to protect many important places and people so far. While she’s good at taking care of others, she has only interacted with her single male childhood friend (Sakuya) previously and hence has difficulty settling down. You may wanna read Senri’s route first for a basic outline, including common events.

Koi wa Kousoku ni Shibararenai!

In Koi wa Kousoku ni Shibararenai!, Manabe Aya is suddenly made the school chairperson by the former chairperson aka her uncle. Everyone is taken aback but eventually is persuaded to give Aya a one year trial to see if she’s suited for the job or not. The student council decides to look over her progress, since this decision would affect the well-being of the school. The common route of the game differs from person to person, depending on what decisions you make in the game. So I won’t be doing a full-blown review, and will just write down pointers, the basic individual story of each character route, and my overall thoughts.

Jyuuzaengi ~Engetsu Sangokuden~: Chou Ryou’s Route

At the halfway mark, we’ve Chou Ryou (CV: Yusa Kouji), who works under Ryo Fu. Ryo Fu’s orders are absolute to him, and he’s often out running random errands for her – he even sews for her, and cooks too. He treats Kan U very kindly from the start but there’s more to him. I recommend reading at least Chou Hi’s review first (and maybe Ryuu Bi’s too) ‘cos all the common stuff is explained there; I’m not going into overlapping details for the following routes.

Okashi na Shima no Peter Pan: John’s route

Next up in Okashi na Shima no Peter Pan (PSP) is one of Wendy’s step-brother, John (CV: Yusa Kouji). John is serious, good at studying, but stubborn and his brain tends to freeze when things get too overwhelming for him – so much that both Wendy and Michael start thinking of him like machine breaking down lol. John respects his sister a lot and also refuses to eat sweets. Both he and Wendy actually have a few common personality traits and past they can’t let go of. However, both of them change as they are in Neverland, and the rest of the post is spoilers. Do read the Prologue first.
